Our Mission

Our purpose is to preserve the natural landscape, ecological diversity, and scenic beauty of the Town of Clinton by protecting open space and by conserving it for public enjoyment and appreciation of nature.

Our Goals

  1. Practice conservation by using such means as stewardship, acquisition of title, conservation easements, and encouragement of other conservation restrictions.
  2. Facilitate public access to conserved spaces.
  3. Practice land stewardship for conserved spaces.
  4. Advocate for conservation land-use planning.
  5. Work with other land trusts, government agencies, watershed associations, educational institutions, and other organizations with similar interests.
